Dhaulagiri Round Trek is a perfect form of an adventurous journey crossing the French Col and Dhampus pass. Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m) is the seventh highest peak in the world and the trekking on its base is a popular trip. The Dhaulagiri circuit route lies on the north of Pokhara that starts from Beni and ends at Jomsom. The challenging trek on this route is also described as a climbing trip that requires crampons and fixed ropes.

For a long time, Dhaulagiri was regarded as the highest peak of the world. It is a technical white peak. Its sloppy base is used for the trekking. The trekkers should be physically fit and strong to complete the Daulagiri circuit trek. In the first section, the trek goes through the ethnic villages and mixed settlements with amusing cultural fascination. It goes through the rhododendron forest. The second part is steep, glacial and icy trail. Proper acclimatization and attentive excursion are required. It is isolated trek that requires camping accommodation. You encounter with various hidden and untouched valleys. The views of Dhaulagiri, Dhampous peak, Annapurna and the surrounding white peaks add more attraction on your trekking. The trek ends at Jomsom, after a gradual walk through the bank of the Kaligandaki River and flies back to Pokhara.
