Ghandruk Poon Hill Trekking is a beautiful trekking in the Annapurna region. It consists mainly two wonderful destinations, the Poon Hill and the Ghandruk village. Due to its short itineraries, it is mostly combined with the tours or the adventure activities to get refreshed and enjoy the ethnic hospitalities. It is an easy trekking trip, which is also suitable for the trekkers who can not go to the high altitude because of the health problem.

Poon Hill is located at an elevation of 3210 meters. It is the best mountain viewpoint in the this area, including the view tower. It is about half an hour distance from the beautiful Magar village Ghorepani. So it is also called Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking. The mountain sceneries of Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung Himal and other stunning peaks can be explored from the Poon Hill. Along with this, the green hills of the western region, gorges and terraced landscape, dense forests of rhododendron and oak are superb. On the following day, you can reach the Ghandruk Village, also known as the village of Gurkhas. The cultural aspect as costumes, hospitality, religious practices and festival celebrations are unique in this village. The Gurung people have a rich folk song and dance culture to welcome their guests. It is no doubt a perfect sense of the cultural exploration and the tourism is based on the local development.
